The Houston Rockets are looking for their ninth straight win tonight, as they take on the Charlotte Hornets at home in the second game of a back-to-back set.
Kenneth Faried is finally back tonight for the Rockets. He’ll likely be playing backup five, since Nene will not be active. Terrence Jones is out tonight for Houston with an illness.
The Hornets will be without Cody Zeller, Marvin Williams, and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
Charlotte has been struggling a bit and are just 3-7 over their last 10 games, but they’re still just a game out of the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference standings, so they’ll be playing hard tonight, and Houston’s going to have tired legs. This is no gimme despite the Hornets’ 30-36 record.
Conrad did a splendid job filling in for AK on the preview, so make sure you check it out before game time over on NBATV.
Go Rockets!
