Rockets vs. Raptors game thread

The Rockets look to keep it rolling and grab their sixth win in a row tonight in Toronto.

NBA: Toronto Raptors at Houston Rockets Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

A big game tonight between the 38-25 Houston Rockets and the 46-18 Toronto Raptors. Both teams have championship aspirations, and both teams are playing well of late, with Houston winning their last five games straight and Toronto winning 8 of their last 10.

The Rockets will once again be shorthanded tonight, with both Kenneth Faried and Iman Shumpert expected to sit out. Though neither injury is thought to be serious.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Rockets handle the Raps trio of bigs — Serge Ibaka, Marc Gasol, and Pascal Siakam with Clint Capela, Nene, and P.J. Tucker. The Manimal sure would have come in handy.

Tonight’s game will be on TNT nationally, which means those of us out of market will have to suffer through a Players Only broadcast, while the lucky Houstonians get the friendly hometown voices of Matt Bullard and Craig Ackerman over on AT&T Southwest.

Make sure to hit up AK’s preview before the game, and as always... go Rockets!
