This will be the Rockets second and final meeting of the season against the 76ers. The last time the two teams faced off, Philadelphia came away victorious in a chippy 121-93 win over the Rockets. For the 76ers to win their season series against the Rockets, they will have to do so without their all-star big man Joel Embiid, who will miss his eighth straight game due to injury.
For Houston, the Rockets come into tonight’s game seeking their seventh straight victory, as the hottest NBA team following the all-star break. Since ending his 30-point streak in a win against the Atlanta Hawks, James Harden is currently averaging 41.2 points per game in the last four games.
