Closing out a series is arguably the hardest thing in basketball. That goes double for sweeps.

Playoff teams are playoff teams for a reason. Whether it’s first in the West or eighth in the East, that team had to overcome something difficult to be in their position. So, believe me when I say, even if it’s just for - or it’s especially if it’s for - them to maintain their pride, that team isn’t going to lie down and tank the series without a game under their belt.

That’s what the Houston Rockets have to do tonight in their second game back in Utah against the Jazz. As we’ve mentioned before, Houston isn’t the best at breaking out the brooms. Now, they’re being asked to do it against a fifth seed that’s scratched and clawed to get where they are; a team facing the worst kind of elimination in front of one of the most notorious home crowds in the league.

A little dramatic? Yes. But that’s what makes it fun. Let’s go ROCKETS!
