The Rockets released its brand new secondary logo this morning on the team’s Facebook page.
The logo commits to the space identity of Houston with a Saturn-like logo. A basketball represents the spherical part of Saturn with a ring containing “Houston Rockets” surrounding the basketball.
In front of the planet features the Rockets primary “R” logo, which will continue to be the team’s primary logo.
During a small video, the Rockets also announced that the team would wear different jerseys for next season, which will be unveiled in two weeks, on June 20th.
