According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Eric Gordon signed a 4-year, $76 million extension to remain with the Rockets.
Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon has agreed to a four-year, $76M maximum contract extension, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

$76 million for Gordon is the maximum contract he could have been offered. EG was originally slated to enter free agency at the end of the 2019-20 season.
Gordon, 30, is now signed on for the Rockets for the next five seasons and won’t become a free agent until the 2023-24 season.
Update: The deal is only for three seasons, but he can be extended for $20.9 million if he makes an All-Star team or if the Rockets win a championship during the span of the deal.
This max extension is the sign of appreciation that Gordon deserves. He’s been a crucial part of the last three teams and is expected to play a huge role for this upcoming season’s team.
Last year, Gordon averaged 16.2 points per game during the regular season and 17.8 points per game in the postseason.
This is excellent news for the future of the Rockets and I’m sure Houston fans are ecstatic to hear this news.
Congratulations, EG!
