Another piece of the Rockets’ schedule has been revealed, and we now know when Russell Westbrook will make his emotional return to the city he called home for a decade.
The Rockets will visit the Thunder in Oklahoma City on Thursday, January 9, in what will likely be a nationally-televised game on TNT.

The Rockets’ return to OKC is the second game in their 82-game schedule to be revealed prior to the league-wide schedule release.
The Rockets will visit the Warriors at the Chase Center on Christmas Day, which will likely be the Rockets’ first game in the new arena.
The entire league schedule drops Monday at 2 p.m. CT, and the Rockets’ schedule puzzle will be solved.
