Hakeem Olajuwon is placing another candle on his birthday cake today!
The Dream is celebrating his 57th birthday and he still looks like he could run some minutes with today’s Rockets squad.
Hakeem’s birthday is significant to us for a couple of reasons:
1) He’s the best player in Rockets franchise history. The two banners in the Toyota Center rafters would not be there without him.
2) He’s the namesake of our website!
The Dream has done so much for the city of Houston on and off the court, and he should be celebrated today and every day.
