The Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets met just a few days ago, with Houston emerging victorious against a decimated Nuggets team.
While Denver’s injury report is a bit shorter with Gary Harris returning and Michael Porter Jr. recovering from a tweaked back, Denver is still missing Jamal Murray, Paul Millsap, and Mason Plumlee.
For Houston, James Harden is questionable for tonight’s game after getting bruised up pretty good against the Timberwolves. His absence will be felt, but with how poorly the Beard has been shooting, some time off might do him good. Russell Westbrook has more than picked up the slack, and his 45 points in Minnesota carried Houston to victory. In fact, Russ has easily been Houston’s best player for the last month, and it’s no surprise that his ascension to that spot has coincided with him taking fewer threes. If he stays aggressive against Nikola Jokic, that could give Houston an edge.
Tip-off is at 2:30pm CT on NBA TV.
