Each team will play three or four times before the start of the NBA season on Tuesday, December 22.
The Rockets will appear on the first night of preseason games Friday, December 11 in the Windy City to face the Chicago Bulls. They’ll face the Bulls again on Sunday, December 13.
The Rockets will then return home to Houston and play the Spurs on Tuesday, December 15 and Thursday, December 17.
All tipoffs for preseason games are at 7 p.m. CT.
With the coronavirus pandemic restricting travel between teams, the preseason schedule gives us an idea as to what we can expect for the regular season. It appears that the NBA might place multi-game series between two teams in the same city to limit travel between teams.
