Here it is at last. The first game of the 2020-2021 NBA Regular Season

The Rockets initial game was postponed due to COVID-19 isolation and contract tracing as well as some James Harden drama. Because there is always James Harden drama now. Even when there is not any, some will be created.

The Rockets have one more than the minimum eight players required to participate in an NBA game this season, and James Harden is one of them. John Wall, Boogie Cousins, Eric Gordon and Mason Jones will not be eligible to play until Wednesday. Ben McLemore apparently has COVID and will be isolating until he can be cleared to return to play.

The Rockets are missing three important players, and we’ll have to wait some more to see John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins play a regular season game for the Rockets.

Anyway, Happy Boxing Day, hoping everyone had a safe and merry Christmas, or other holiday. The West Coast tip-off is a late one for Houstonians, but perfect for some.
