Rockets at Nuggets Game Thread

Houston goes into the Mile-High looking for their first win.

NBA: Houston Rockets at Denver Nuggets Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

I’m not going to lie, it’s hard to be excited for tonight’s game.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot to look forward to. For one, the Houston Rockets will be playing NBA basketball. We’re in store for a potentially great James Harden game, as he is once again without the majority of his supporting cast. And Christian Wood’s abilities will be tested against Nikola Jokic.

On the other hand, the Rockets are STILL without three key rotational players, including their starting point guard John Wall. The Denver Nuggets are a good team, and they could easily freeze out Harden if they force him to make literally anyone else score for the Rockets. There’s also the potential that Wood is good but not that good and could get completely worked by Jokic — who on any other day would be Demarcus Cousins’ matchup.

What do you think will be the biggest key to a victory tonight? What do you expect to see from Christian Wood? Who do you look forward to seeing step up the most, and why is it Jae’Sean Tate?

Last, but surely not least, LET’S GO ROCKETS!
