Hours after the NBA and NBPA approved its restart plan, the league released its schedule for the final stretch of regular season games.
The Rockets will face the next eight playoff teams that were on their original schedule, though not in the same order.
The first game canceled after the season was suspended would have come against the Lakers in Los Angeles, but the Rockets must wait until Game #4 on August 6 to face the team at the top of the West.
Here’s a list of their remaining games (all games CT):
Friday, July 31 - Mavericks - 8 p.m.
Sunday, August 2 - Bucks - 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, August 4 - Trail Blazers - 8 p.m.
Thursday, August 6 - Lakers - 8 p.m.
Sunday, August 9 - Kings - 7 p.m.
Tuesday, August 11 - Spurs - 1 p.m.
Wednesday, August 12 - Pacers - 3 p.m.
Friday, August 14 - 76ers - TBD
The first game against the Mavericks is key because the gap between the teams is just 1.5 games.
The Bucks and Lakers games will be good litmus tests for the team, but the rest of the games are very winnable, with three games coming against teams outside the current playoff picture.
