Sefolosha will surrender part of his contract earnings because his opt out is considered “unexcused.”
With Sefolosha no longer on the Orlando roster, a spot opened up for the team, paving the way to sign former Rocket Luc Mbah a Moute, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

LMAM played a pivotal role on the Rockets’ 2018 squad that was one win away from a Finals berth, but injuries caught up to him as he was rather ineffective during the Western Conference Finals.
Injuries also got the better of LMAM last season with the Clippers, and he hasn’t played NBA minutes since October 2018.
However, Mbah a Moute is fully healthy now with fresh legs, a knack for the system and chemistry with James Harden and P.J. Tucker. If the team had to fill a roster spot, this is about as good as you can get at this point.
The team brought him in for a workout back in March during the buyout market, so this is the right reunion for the Rockets.
