The Houston Rockets are set to open the Western Conference Quarterfinals against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday. The Rockets will be without Russell Westbrook (quad), but will receive Houston native Danuel House Jr. for Game 1. House missed the final three seeding games due to a minor toe injury.
For Oklahoma City, the Thunder won two of three regular-season meetings against the Rockets. Chris Paul averaged 20.3 points shooting 47.8% from the field, 45.5% from deep, to go along with 2.7 steals against his former team. In their last meeting, the Thunder took a 112-107 victory over the Rockets — Paul led the way with 28 points in the road win.
