The NBA Playoffs are not leaving anyone behind this year. With two Eastern Conference series knee-deep and the other Western Conference series beginning this evening, the Rockets will have a quick turnaround after their Game 7 win over the Thunder.
Here’s a look at the schedule for the Rockets (all times CT):
Friday, September 4: Game 1, Lakers vs. Rockets, 8 p.m., ESPN
Sunday, September 6: Game 2, Lakers vs. Rockets, 7:30 p.m., ABC
Tuesday, September 8: Game 3, Lakers @ Rockets, 8 p.m., TNT
Thursday, September 10: Game 4, Lakers @ Rockets, TBD, TNT
Saturday, September 12*: Game 5, Lakers vs. Rockets, TBD, ESPN
Monday, September 14*: Game 6, Lakers @ Rockets, TBD, TNT
Wednesday, September 16*: Game 7, Lakers vs. Rockets, TBD, TNT
The Lakers have not played since Saturday and have played just once since August 31 after the three-day NBA strike following the shooting of Jacob Blake and the Lakers taking care of their series with the Trail Blazers in a measly five games.
Will the tight schedule hurt the Rockets fatigue or help with their momentum? Only time will tell.
