SB Nation Reacts: Contact tracing

COVID protocols are in the news. Our fans react.

NBA: Houston Rockets at Boston Celtics Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

I was travelling this weekend, so I’m a few days behind on posting this, but here are the results of last week’s SB Nation Reacts survey. We has a series of national questions dealing with the impacts of COVID-19 contact tracing on the season. Here are the results.

We asked, “Is the the NBA’s contact tracing process fair?” Our national voters were mostly in agreement.

Our second contact tracing-related question asked if we thought contact tracing was going to play a big role in the league this year. I don’t think there’s any question about that. Not only will it, but it already has. Here’s your final numbers for that.

In addition, we asked one more national question of our voters, and this one wanted to know if homecourt advantage has been eliminated due to the lack of fans. Most voters thought so.

We also have some results for our Houston Rockets fan confidence ratings, though we haven’t received any graphics cards yet. For the first three weeks of the season, Rockets fan confidence started at 78 percent, dropped to 57 percent in week two, and jumped to 73 percent in week three. Though it’s important to note that the week three results were taken before last night’s big defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers.

We are looking for more survey participants! If you’ve been thinking of signing up, but haven’t been sure, now is the time! Head on over here to offer us your opinion every week!
