In their first game since their departure from James Harden, the Houston Rockets picked up a 109-105 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday. Christian Wood led the way in the win with 27 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks. The injury bug continues to take a toll on the Rockets as DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) and Sterling Brown (leg) are out due to injuries. As part of the Harden trade, Rodions Kurucs will be making his debut today as a Rocket.

For San Antonio, Keldon Johnson led the way for the Spurs with a team-high 29 points in the loss to Houston. Lonnie Walker IV added in 16 points for the Spurs.
