The Rockets look to bring their win streak to five games. They’re also looking to reach .500. Currently, over the streak, the Rockets are the number one rated defense in the NBA.

Read that again. Number one...defense.

That’s a weird thing to consider, given the past few years.

At any rate, the Rockets are facing the Pelicans tonight, after the Pelicans defeated the Bucks yesterday night, in a game that featured a fine performance from Lonzo Ball. Yes, it’s a weird world right now. Rockets defense, Lonzo splashing shots.

Another odd thing, all the Rockets are available, except for Putative Rocket Dante Exum, who is never available.

So perhaps we will begin to see the Rockets work together as a team on offense with all their players available. We might see Victor Oladipo play like a guy worth having on a team. We could see a pick and roll with John Wall and Christian Wood.

Who knows? It could happen!
