Well, here it is, Rockets fans, the season opener. It’s been a long journey to get here, with a difficult year last season, and now the rebuild starts in earnest. There’s likely to be lots of losing this season, but at least there’s excitement, potential, and something to look forward to every night on the court.

Starting lineups have yet to be released, but Danuel House is out tonight for personal reasons, those being the birth of his fourth child.

I’m hoping it’s Jae’Sean Tate at small forward tonight, but Stephen Silas was planning on keeping his starters under wraps until right before tip the last I saw.
