Houston Rockets vs. Golden State Warriors game preview

The Houston Rockets will complete their first back-to-back tonight when they head to The City (San Francisco) to take on the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors are 7-1 and looking good on the young season. They’re still awaiting the return of Klay Thompson, but in the meantime they are developing young players to form the electrons around the nucleus of Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Thompson.

Back-to-backs on the road are always hard, especially when your opponent had the night before off. Additionally, Houston is coming off a demoralizing loss to the Nuggets in which the Rockets had a real shot at taking home their first road win. Houston has come tantalizing close to breaking through during the first four games of this road trip. Eventually, a young team gets frustrated. It’s up to Stephen Silas and his staff to keep the ship on the right path, even when this game screams schedule loss/blowout.

Tip-off is at 7:30pm CT on AT&T SportsNet Southwest
