So, it has come to this. Will the Rockets lose 11 games in a row. It’s hard to imagine making such a statement any time in the past several years. Losing a superstar is difficult, and tanking, for all its intellectual attractions, looks like this. The Rockets desperately need Christian Wood back. They need more, a lot more, for John Wall and Victor Oladipo, who continue to look like they’re playing their first game of basketball together. They may need to be a bit less doctrinaire about the rotation, and maybe play their best guys, which would include Eric Gordon, and exclude PJ Tucker for the most part.
