The Rockets Are Back, Like It or Not

NBA: Houston Rockets at Cleveland Cavaliers
Two Men With Different Teams
David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

Houston Rockets (11-23) vs. Sacramento Kings (14-22), March 10, 2021, 9 p.m. CST

Location: Golden1Center

TV: AT&T SportsNet

Radio: SportsTalk790

Online: Rockets App

Projected Starting Lineups

Rockets: John Wall (DtD), Victor Oladipo (PTTG), Danuel House Jr.(DTD), Jae’Sean Tate, P.J. Tucker(PTTG). I mean, who knows, really? Who is even around (PTTG = Please Trade This Guy.)

Kings: D’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes, Marvin Bagley, Richaun Holmes

Out

Rockets: Christian Wood - (ankle), Dante Exum, David Nwaba (wrist) - (BDE Syndrome -Being Dante Exum), others possibly, see below

Kings: Hassan Whiteside (HealthNSafety), Tyrese Haliburton (DtD), Chimezie Metu (wrist), Jabari Parker (HealthNSafety)

The All Star break is over. The Rockets are back in action. Or back in inaction, as the case may be as there aren’t many of the well-known Rockets available tonight.

Expected to miss tonight’s game are:

Christian Wood, who we’d hoped to see back by now. Rodions Kurucs, who we rarely expect to see play, and possibly/probably Danuel House, and John Wall who are listed as Day-to-Day, as is Eric Gordon. David Nwaba had wrist surgery and won’t be back for weeks. You can simply assume Dante Exum is out at all times.

If the plan is to lose, losing should definitely happen with this lineup. We might expect to see Kevin Porter Jr., Kenyon Martin Jr. and maybe new signing Daniel Lamb.

It should be interesting? In theory at least.
