Tonight, Houston heads to Brooklyn to take on former Rocket and current superstar James Harden.
After trading their franchise’s best player of the past decade, Houston is in the dregs of the West. On the other end of the spectrum, the Nets (with Harden and occasional appearances from Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant) are tied for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. With the additions of Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge, Brooklyn is considered the favorite to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals.
For Houston, John Wall is questionable with a knee issue, and Danuel House Jr. and Christian Wood are probable for tonight’s contest.
Tank fans got a gift Tuesday night as the Orlando Magic pulled off an impressive come-from-behind win over the Los Angeles Clippers. Houston now has a 2.5 game “lead” over the Magic for the third worst record in the NBA. Yes, unfortunately we’re going to be keeping track of this for the rest of the season.
Tip-off is at 6:30pm CT on AT&T SportsNet Southwest
