The Rockets battle their cross-state rival tonight, who have something to play for, while our (anti-?) heroes in red look to be in full-on tank mode. Nevertheless, John Wall is back tonight, which is good for my fantasy squad. I’m a half-game out of first in the next to last week of the regular season, so I need all hands on deck to snag that bye.
Best-case scenario for Houston? Lose, but look good doing it. It’s all-in on the future at this point, so as long as Wall gets his. And Jae’Sean Tate too. I was ridiculed a little for snagging Tate with my last pick in a lottery draft. I heard the calls of, “Whoa, that’s a deep cut!”
He’s been a top 80 player this season, currently ranked at 74. Incredible value at the last pick. Probably my favorite player on the court and in the fantasy realm.
Anyway, go Rockets! Let’s rack up some big offense. But maybe lose in the end to a miracle Luka heave? Could it end any other way?
