SB Nation Reacts: NBA Conference Finals

Who wins?

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-First Round-Oklahoma Sooners vs Rhode Island Rams Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

I know that the NBA Conference Finals started already, so I’m a little behind on this week’s results, but we have a slew of questions dealing with our remaining playoff teams, so let’s get right to it.

Our first question asked our national voters who they thought would win the Western Conference Finals. This was a blowout.

The Phoenix Suns are already up 2-0 on the Los Angeles Clippers, so at the moment, it appears our voters are doing well.

We also asked about the Eastern Conference Finals. Here are those results.

That’s pretty overwhelming for the Milwaukee Bucks, though Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks game them the 48-point business last night to give ATL the 1-0 lead in the series.

We then asked our national voters who they thought would win the whole shebang, and this one was pretty certain also, with over 50-percent of our respondents rolling with the Suns.

We also asked our national voters who they felt was the most exciting player left in the playoffs, which I thought would be the most interesting question of the bunch with both Young and Devin Booker still playing. Here are those results.

This poll was taken before last night’s game, so things may have changed after Young’s performance last night.

We also had a few questions about Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers, who were eliminated in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, and Simmons took a drubbing for his performance. It’s a pertinent question for Houston Rockets fans, as Rafael Stone has been often criticized for not pursuing Simmons with more gusto during the James Harden trade negotiations. Some opinions have changed since then. Anyway, here are the Simmons questions.
