The Rockets finish their Las Vegas Summer League schedule this afternoon with a matchup against the Blazers. There’s no Jalen Green for this one, and Alperen Sengun, who has quickly endeared himself to Red Nation and is one of the top fan favorites on the squad already, will also sit this one out. He’ll be in back in Turkey travelling before training camp gets moving.

But that doesn’t mean there’s not some good reasons to be engaged with this one. Josh Christopher will continue to try to jumpstart the squad with his relentless energy. We’ve seen a lot of good from the young guard, but he also has some work to do.

Usman Garuba should also be playing, and he’ll be looking to get more active offensively after scoring just one bucket in his two Summer League games thus far. He has averaged 7 rebounds per game in just 14 minutes of action, however.

This is the last Rockets basketball we’re going to see for a while, as training camp doesn’t begin until September 28. Houston’s first preseason game is October 15, so soak it in for now, Rockets fans!
