At 5 p.m. CT, teams will be able to officially (wink, wink) meet with free agents and agree to terms on new contracts.
While none of these deals will become official until the new league year begins Friday evening, majority of the free agency frenzy will take place before the new league year begins at the end of this week.
While the Houston Rockets might not be the biggest players in this year’s free agency pool, the team will have to make a big decision regarding midseason acquisition Kelly Olynyk and restricted free agents Armoni Brooks and Anthony Lamb.
Those decisions could come as early as this evening so keep an eye on The Dream Shake for all things Rockets as free agency unfolds throughout the week.
