The Houston Rockets finalized their training camp roster Tuesday night by signing veteran Dante Exum.

Exum becomes the 21st player to join the roster for training camp, which begins later this month. This means the Rockets will have to part ways with one player before training camp begins.

Exum was acquired by the Rockets from the Cleveland Cavaliers in the trade that sent James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets back in January.

While Exum joined the Rockets, he did not log any minutes for the team as he was nursing an injury. He played in just six games for the Cavaliers this season.

Exum’s career has been highlighted by injuries, playing more than 60 games just once since his rookie year back in 2014-15.

Exum does provide veteran experience to a roster dominated by rookies and young players.

While it’s possible the Rockets likely part ways with Exum following training camp, having a familiar face to the coaching staff in the building during training camp is always a plus.
